Once again, 2024 has some veritable Schumann highlights in store for us at numerous venues.

A multitude of events and different formats with interesting artists will try to approach the musical couple and their social, cultural and artistic environment in a wide variety of ways. Information on all upcoming events can be found through our Schumann-Portal, as well as accounts of past activities, which we specifically refer to in this issue on p. 114.
We are very pleased to be able to present issue 11 of our magazine Schumann Journal after a break of almost two years, no longer in the usual printed magazine format, but now as a digital magazine, ensuring currency and improving accessibility.

In-depth reviews of CDs, sheet music and books published in the last two years can be found from p. 115 onward. As usual, the current issue also offers a number of essays on various topics.

We hope you enjoy reading this issue and look forward to fu- ture encounters. We wish you a happy and muscially fulfilling 2024.1
